In fact, integrated teams are being formed and piloted to provide quality patient care at a reduced cost. Effective meetings are critical to set goals and implement strategies. This article will describe behaviors that should be modeled to run effective meetings that move the organization forward and into action.
Do you remember a meeting where there was energy and enthusiasm, great discussions and collaboration, goals formed and action taken? Now remember your worst meeting where a few individuals dominated the conversation, ideas of others were dismissed, and action was either not taken or decisions were made that only reflected the agenda of a the dominant few.
