The expected life span of a malamute is 10.7 years. The cause of their fatality is cancer. It is bit intriguing and nearly fictionalized. This breed of dogs is originally suited in winter regions. With that they have very dense coat of furs. But nowadays we can find these dogs even in sunny countries. So they are not use to it and not suited to their physicalities. To cope with that, they need plenty of water during hot days.
